who is mumzy stranger?
well read the full story about mumzy

I was listening to BBC Asian Network, where i came across for the first time Mumzy Stranger- a Bangladeshi Singer from East London. I was intrigued to find out more, so checked him out on youtube and to my amazement my was i impressed!

I was even more touched by reading his profile and learning that it was his mother that stood by him and believed in him till the end, she sadly passed away.

So, for a British Bangladeshi lad from East London, i have a strong feeling he will make it big, however doing a duo with Priya Kalidas may have not been the right move Mumzy! We all remember her last song don’t we?

Good Luck Mumzy and all the best in your music career, we are sure you will do extremely well.

Baishakhi Mela is haram?

Well certain fundamental extremist groups based in Tower Hamlets seemed to think so, when they decided to circulate leaflets to the Bangladeshi community in Tower Hamlets ahead of Sundays Baishakhi Mela forbidding them to go as they have got it into their thick heads that its haram!

You lunatics really need to get a life and get a real job instead of spreading hate. Every single one of you are happy to accept state benefits and handouts yet this is not HARAM?

If you hate this country so much why dont you move to Saudi Arabia where you can live at peace instead of creating war amongst communities here!

GET OUT AND STAY OUT, NO ONE WONDER BNP HAVE MORE PEOPLE SUPPORTING THEM. ITS TRASH LIKE YOU THAT GIVE US ASIANS A BAD NAME, BECAUSE ALL WHITE PEOPLE ASSUME ALL ASIANS ARE MUSLIM SO WE ALL GET ABUSE AND ITS YOUR FAULT!!!!!!!!!!

Literature delivered to Bethnal Green homes condemns Mela celebrations
25 May 2010
LEAFLETS condemning people who planned to attend Sunday’s A Baishakhi Mela in Spitalfields and Bethnal Green were pushed through the letterboxes of homes near the event.

The pamphlet, made of two sheets of white A4 paper stapled together, was entitled ‘True Serenity’ and told readers that, as well as alcohol and drugs, music, dancing and free mixing of men and women was forbidden, or haraam.

The memo was delivered to flats in Derbyshire Street, Bethnal Green, near the main Mela site at Weavers’ Fields.

It said: “Free mixing, music, singing and dancing, Mela or festivals all come under this haraam category. One is not allowed to be present there whatsoever.”

It accused Muslims who attended the Mela of “committing disobedience against Allah” and said that people who participates in haraam activities “will have a painful torment in this world and in the hereafter”.

It said: “We can guarantee for those who will, one way or another, participate in this haraam Mela that on that day they may find some deceptive enjoyment and laughter but know for sure they will be weeping in years to come. Some may even regret and weep for eternity.

Bengali woman charged with attempting to murder MP!

A girl accused of trying to murder Labour MP Stephen Timms in an horrific stabbing attack came armed with TWO KNIVES.

Student Roshonara Choudhary, 21, had made an appointment at the former minister’s constituency surgery in east London where she is alleged to have TWICE plunged a blade into his stomach.

Police recovered one knife from an aide who bravely disarmed the attacker on Friday afternoon. They later found a second weapon hidden in her clothing.

Choudhary, who wore Muslim dress and an orange headscarf, is to appear before Stratford Magistrates tomorrow charged with attempted murder and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon.

A police source told us: “There’s been a lot of speculation about her mental health but she was deemed fit for interview.

“There’s nothing to suggest any connection between her and Mr Timms on a personal level. Any motive looks like it’s come from a deep-seated hatred either of the politician himself or for what he represents.”

Last night Mr Timms was in the Royal London Hospital, White- chapel, recovering from surgery on his wounds. A spokesman said: “The operation went well. He’s comfortable and resting. It’s anticipated he’ll be discharged in a few days to recuperate at home.”

Fierce

Mr Timms - MP for East Ham, and previously Newham North East, since 1994 - was said to be shaken but “in good spirits”.

One of his aides, Unmesh Desai, added: “Mr Timms’ first concern was when he’d be able to see constituents again. But he’s unlikely to return to work for a few weeks.”

A schoolgirl who saw the drama unfold in the Beckton Globe Library last night said the attacker was “skinny” but “fierce” looking.

Choudhary - who once mentored local kids at an educational project in West Ham football club - was last night described by East Ham neighbours as a “bright girl” and “devout Muslim”.

She recently placed an ad in a local newsagent offering herself as a £5-an-hour English tutor.

One neighbour whose children were taught by Choudhary said: “She abruptly cancelled a lesson on Friday afternoon.

“My kids were supposed to go her house after school but about 2pm she rang me to say that she wasn’t available. I didn’t ask why.

“She seemed completely fine and totally normal. I’m shocked.”

There seems to be an increase in Bangladeshi women murderers in the UK, what has this world come to?

Abul Hussain continues his hate campaign with Rania Khan now!

What is wrong with this silly little boy? Read this article from East London Advertiser.

A LABOUR council candidate is threatening legal action over an allegation made on social networking site Facebook.

Rania Khan has written to Abul Hussain, Respect’s prospective council candidate for St Dunstan’s and Stepney Green, demanding he remove what she says are ‘defamatory remarks’ from Facebook’s website.

Mrs Khan, the cabinet member for Regeneration and Localisation, is standing for election in Bromley-by-Bow.

She is a former member of the Respect party, leaving to join New Labour in summer 2008.

The allegations appeared earlier this week and have been captured in a screengrab by Mrs Khan. She is insisting they are taken down immediately.

Mrs Khan told the Advertiser: “This has been posted on his website because I’m a threat to their party.

“There have been no arrests and no raids at my house.

“If this remark is not removed I will pass the case on to my lawyers.”

The threatened action comes after Mrs Khan was named during a press conference given by George Galloway MP as being involved in alleged election fraud.

Mrs Khan denies all allegations.

Mr Hussain was unavailable for comment.
