Cllr Shelina Akhtar who represents the Spitafields and Bangla town ward is still being investigated for fraud after being arrested last month! She has been asked to return to an East London police station on 24/12/2010.
The 32 year old shameless Bangladeshi Muslim female who also happens to wear a head scarf is thought to have been sub-letting her council flat which she had no right to do!
She was also last year charged with fraudulently claiming benefits including housing and council tax benefit whilst working…. Let’s hope the truth is revealed and justice is prevailed!

She pleaded guilty today after trying to avoid court through been sick. A warrant of arrest was issued and she then handed herself into the court at snares brook crown court.
